Who is Katherine Heigl?Katherine Heigl was born into a Mormon family on 24 November 1978, in Washington D.C.
She was a child model and actress, who came to widespread attention with her leading role in 1994 in the film My Father the HeroIn 1999, Katherine Heigl was cast as Isabel Evans in the sci-fi drama Roswell. She appeared in the series until its end after three seasons in 2002.
People reported that Heigl started dating her Roswell co-star Jason Behr. In 2005, Katherine Heigl gained her major breakthrough when she was cast as Dr. Isobel 'Izzie' Stevens on Grey's Anatomy.
2005 also saw her appear in her husband-to-be Josh Kelley's music video for Only You.

In June 2009, it was reported that Heigl would be returning for the 6th series of Grey's Anatomy.
In 2016, she announced that she was pregnant. She gave birth to a son. Katherine and her husband Josh Kelley had previously adopted two daughters Adelaide Marie Hope and Naleigh Moon.
In February 2018 it was revealed that Heigl was joining Suits from its eighth series to play Samantha Wheeler, a new partner at Pearson Specter Litt.
