Blake Aldridge was born in London on 4 August 1982.

Blake Aldridge went to the Southampton Diving Academy and was coached by Lindsey Fraser.

At the world championships in February 2008, Blake Aldridge won a bronze diving in the 10m synch with Tom Daley.

The pair won a world series gold in Sheffield GBR in May 2008 with a perfect 10 dive also in the 10m synch.

Aldridge began diving aged 5. He is 1.67m tall and weighs 64kg.

In 2008 the Olympic Games did not go well for Blake Aldridge. In spite of high hopes he and Tom Daley finished last in the 10m synchronised diving in Beijing.

After the Beijing Olympics, Blake Aldridge's partnership with Daley ended.

According to a BBC report on Tom Daley:

"Aldridge then missed the British Championships in February after being injured in an incident at a nightclub, prompting Daley Sr to say he would prefer his son to have a different partner."

Since 2010, Blake Aldridge has been active in cliff diving. His first dive in World Series competition was from 27 metres in June 2011 in La Rochelle.

In 2015, he came 4th overall in the series.
