Widely regarded as one of GB's brightest athletics prospects Katia Lannon will need to overcome cash problems before she can strike heptathlon gold at the 2012 London Olympics.

At the 2002 Commonwealth Games held in Manchester, Katia Lannon was a kit carrier for Kelly Holmes and Colin Jackson.
