Matt Neal's Biography
In 2005, Matt, who is 6'6", and Team Dynamics (with his father Steve in charge) became the first independents to top the British Touring Car Championship for 14 years.
The BBC has a report on Matt Neal's victory together with the final standings.
It was a great achievement by Matt Neal, who has done well to be competitive against teams with far more money to spend. It reinforced his winning of 250,000 in 1999 at Donington Park, when he drove his Team Dynamics Super Touring Nissan Primera to victory.
The 2006 season started a little bit disappointingly for Matt, but, in the race report on Matt's official website, his new colleague Gordon Collard remained positive:
"The car was running well and I set the fastest time overall which is great. It's a bit of cheer in the final race as Matt's accident put a bit of downer on things but lets put this one down to experience, and really go for it at Mondello Park.
