Who is Emily Pidgeon?
Emily Pidgeon from Gloucester is one of Britain's leading runners.She has broken the under-20 British steeplechase record and her versatility is reflected in her other achievements, for example, her UK records at 3,000m and 5,000m.
In 2005 Emily Pidgeon was 20th at the World Junior Cross Country Championships, a record comparable to Paula Radcliffes fifteenth place when she was 17.
Pidgeon's athletics accomplishments include winning gold in the 3,000m at the English Schools Championships, winning the European Junior 5,000m title and coming second in the European Junior Cross Country Championships.
