She pursued a career in illustration but changed course when she gained a BA in Acting from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts (RADA) in 2015.
Stefanie Martini picked up roles as Mary Thorne in ITV's Doctor Thorne and in NBC's Emerald City, but her big breakthrough came in 2017 when she was cast as a young Jane Tennison in the ITV prequel Prime Suspect 1973.
In the same year she started filming on the feature film Crooked House, an adaptation from the Agatha Christie story of the same name.
