Who is Tracey Ullman?

Tracey Ullman was born Trace Ullman in Slough, England, the daughter of a Polish father and a British-Roma mother.

Her father died when she was 6 years old.

Tracey Ullman went to the Italia Conti Stage School.

She first came to widespread public attention in a Comedy sketch show called Three of a Kind, alongside Lenny Henry and David Copperfield.

She married the TV producer Allan McKeown and they relocated to Los Angeles in 1985.

Whilst in the States she would have huge critical and public success with The Tracey Ullman Show, which debuted on 19 April 1987.

Allan McKeown died in December 2013.

In January 2016, she returned to British TV screens with Tracey Ullman's Show broadcast on BBC1.

Following on from a successful one off TV show Tracey Breaks The News, the BBC commissioned a new 3 part series.

Trivia
Her daughter Mabel has worked for the Labour Party including for Harriet Harman.

Her son, Johnny has been a sketch writer.
