Rosanna Lauren Arquette was born on August 10, 1959 in New York.

Rosanna Arquette was born into a show-business family and made her acting debut in Los Angeles when still a teenager in a theatrical production of Metamorphosis. Her brother is David Arquette and her sisters are Patricia and Alexis.

As well as acting in such films as "After Hours", "Desperately Seeking Susan", "The Big Blue", "Buffalo 66", and "Pulp Fiction", Rosanna Arquette has also directed and shot the film documentary "Searching for Debra Winger" in 2002, which included interviews with 25 actresses including Jane Fonda, Whoopi Goldberg, and Sharon Stone.

Rosanna Arquette lived with Peter Gabriel for a few years and she was once the partner of Toto keyboardist Steve Porcaro.

She later married Jon Sidel, with whom she had a daughter, Zoe. Arquette and Sidel have since split up.

Before her marriage to Sidel, Rosanna Arquette had already been married twice.

In 2007, it emerged that Rosanna Arquette had been dating Paul McCartney.

In March 2008, the BBC reported that Rosanna Arquette had accepted damages from the News of the World over incorrect claims that she had struggled with drug problems.

Rosanna Arquette donated the damages to The Children's Hospital in Los Angeles.
