When she moved to Houston, Texas, she met Beyoncé Knowles, and they formed Destiny's Child.
Later, they were joined by Michelle Williams, and together Destiny's Child sold more then 60 million records.
In 2002, Kelly Rowland's solo debut album, Simply Deep, was released.
Rowland had success away from Destiny's Child including her duet with Nelly, called Dilemma; and her single Motivation featuring Lil Wayne in 2011.
Kelly Rowland's album Here I Am had a release date of 28 November 2011 in the UK.
Kelly Rowland was one of the judges on X Factor.
