Rachel Allen's Biography
Rachel Allen was born on 21 March 1972 in Dublin.
She went to the Ballymaloe Cookery School.
After graduating from the school she cooked at the Ballymaloe House Hotel, and then taught at the school, which was founded by her mother-in-law Darina Allen.
Together with her husband Isaac she built a house on the Ballymaloe land.
She first came to widespread public attention in 2004 when the Irish broadcaster RTE transmitted her series Rachel's Favourite Food.
Rachel Allen went on to amass numerous TV credits and has written several food books.
She co-hosted the Good Food Channel's Market Kitchen.
Rachel Allen is also a frequent guest on BBC's Saturday Kitchen.
In March 2017, Channel Four announced that Rachel Allen and Glynn Purnell would be the judges on My Kitchen Rules UK.
