Aoibheann Walsh's Biography

The Apprentice candidate Aoibheann Walsh

Aoibheann was a professional model before going on to own a hair and beauty salon G&G in Letterkenny, County Donegal.

She launched her business at the age of 24 and won an award for Best Business Startup 2015 and subsequently Best Wedding Hair & Makeup.

Aoibheann designed a utility belt called SashSó specifically for hairdressers, makeup artists, and costume designers on the go.

Her brother Davitt Walsh, was recognised for his gallantry after he risked his life jumping into cold waters at Buncrana Pier when a family's car plunged underwater in March 2016: "Five family members tragically lost their lives, but former League of Ireland footballer Davitt rescued little girl Rioghnach-Ann McGrotty, who was only four months old, from the sinking car."

In 2025, she was a candidate on The Apprentice series 19.
