Tom Parker Bowles was educated at Eton and Oxford University.

His mother is Camilla Parker Bowles and Tom is one of over 30 godchildren of his step-father, Prince Charles.

On 10 September 2005, Tom Parker Bowles, who was 30, married Sarah Buys, 31, a fashion features editor at Harpers & Queen.

Ms Buys had been looking forward to the wedding, claiming it would be, "so humungous that it makes even Liza Minnelli and David Gest's global guest-listed nuptials seem like an intimate dinner."

Tom Parker Bowles used to be involved in film PR with Dennis Davidson Associates and visited Cannes regularly. He got into trouble at the Cannes Film Festival for supplying a woman with cocaine. He says he was set-up.

Tom Parker Bowles has a younger sister Laura, who runs an art gallery in London's Belgravia, and has written about motoring for the Tatler.
