Who is Lloyd Jones?

Lloyd Jones was born on 1 August 1988 in Cardiff.

He began ice skating when he was just five years old.

He was educated at Coryton Primary School and Whitchurch High School.

Lloyd Jones has ice skated with success notably with Leigh Rogers representing Great Britain and with Pernelle Carron representing France.

In October 2013, he gained French citizenship and was based largely in Lyon, where he studied sports management at University.

Later, he danced professionally around the world with Paula Soma and Megan Marschall.

In November 2017, ITV announced that Lloyd Jones would be one of the professional skaters on Dancing on Ice in 2018.

He was to be paired with Donna Air.

However, in November 2017 he and his ex partner Megan Marschall were replaced by Mark Hanretty and Alex Murphy.
