Lee Stafford's Biography
Lee Stafford was born in Essex in 1966 and grew up in Leigh-on-sea.
Lee Stafford's first salon was called, The House That Hair Built. Stafford opened it in 1996 in Essex.
After winning the Men's British Hairdresser of the Year Award and being nominated for Salon of the Year in 1999, Lee Stafford opened his second salon in Wardour Street in London's Soho. Called Lee Stafford Salon it opened its doors in 2000.
Lee Stafford and his staff have won many awards including The Best British Hairdresser of 2004.
Lee Stafford was featured in two series of The Hairdresser on Living TV. The first series revolved around setting up the salon in Brighton and features some celebrity clients including Zoe Ball and Abi Titmuss.The second series focussed on the Soho Salon.
Lee Stafford has appeared on other TV shows, notably This Morning and his customers have included Rachel Stevens, Sophie Anderton, and Billie Piper. Stafford was also selected to be tutor for BBC's Children in Need's Celebrity Scissorhands.
