Ella Eyre's Biography

Early Life

Ella Eyre was born in London on 1 April 1994 and grew up in Ealing in the west of London.

Her mother, who used to be Alexander McQueen's PA, moved from fashion to be a cake maker. Her father went back to Jamaica when Ella was young.

Up until she was 11, Ella Eyre was a competitive swimmer, however she got interested in drama and then music.

Ella Eyre's Music

The singer songwriter initially became popular through her collaborations with bands Bastille and Rudimental.

She released her first EP The Deeper on 15 December 2013.

Ella Eyre came second in the BBC Sound of 2014 new music poll.

Her debut album Feline was released in 2016.

Personal Life

She was reportedly dating Rixton drummer Lewi Morgan.

Drive

In 2016, she became one of the celebrities on the new ITV series Drive, in which she was nicknamed the Tasmanian Devil because she broke nearly every car she drove.
