Jason Brown's Biography

Jason 'J' Brown was a member of boy band 5ive, along with Scott Robinson, Richard Neville, Richard 'Abs' Breen and Sean Conlon.

In 2007, Jason J Brown followed in Abs Breen's footsteps by going on an ITV reality show. Breen had gone on Love Island, but Jason Brown became a contestant on I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here.

J Brown did well in the jungle and finished third in I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here in 2007.

5ive had formed in 1997 and split up in 2001. They had 11 top 10 singles.

In September 2006 the BBC reported that Five were making a comeback without Sean Conlon.

Back in October 2001, The Irish Examiner reported how Jason Brown was convicted of assaulting a Dublin man in a pub in December 2000.

The report commented:

"Mr Brown admitted that he had a lot of drink taken, when he entered the pub with a group of friends.

"He said he was teased by a group about the band - and fearful that something might develop of a violent nature - he struck Dubliner Finan Gallagher.

"Mr Gallagher claims Brown was abusive and obnoxious and said that the only thing he had said to him was "Who is 5ive?"."
