In September 2016 ITV announced that there would be changes to the spin-off show on ITV2.
Firstly its name was changing from I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here Now to I’m A Celebrity...Extra Camp and secondly it would be hosted live every night by Joe Swash, Chris Ramsey, Stacey Solomon and Vicky Pattison.
They all, with the exception of Chris Ramsey, are past winners of the main show.
On 31st October 2016, ITV announced that I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here would launch on Sunday 13 November 2016 at 9pm on ITV1.
The celebrities lined up for 2016 were Jordan Banjo, Wayne Bridge, Joel Dommett, Ola Jordan, Larry Lamb, Scarlett Moffatt, Sam Quek, Lisa Snowdon, Adam Thomas and Carol Vorderman.
They were joined on day 5 by Martin Roberts and Danny Baker.
I'm A Celebrity 2016 was won by Scarlett Moffatt, with Joel Dommett second and Adam Thomas third.
