Joseph Valente was a 25 year old owner of a plumbing business living in Peterborough when he entered The Apprentice in 2015.

At the time of The Apprentice, he was MD of Impra-Gas/Impra-Property Maintenance.

Joseph, who went to Stanground College, cites Hugh Hefner as one of his role models.

In the first week of The Apprentice Joseph Valente mentioned that he had been expelled at 14.

Joseph Valente along with Vana Koutsomitis reached the final of The Apprentice series 11.

Joseph went on to win and gain the £250,000 support of Lord Sugar, for his business plan to extend his plumbing business throughout the UK.

In October 2016, the South Wales Evening Post reported that Joseph Valente, managing director of plumbing, heating and electrical business Impra-Gas was lined up to speak to the Swansea Business Club about the importance of apprentices.

In April 2017, it was revealed that Joseph Valente and Lord Sugar were going their separate ways with Valente taking full control of ImpraGas.

It was reported that they were parting on friendly terms.

Joseph Valente has written an autobiography and business book, Expelled From The Classroom To Billionaire Boardroom.

He also launched The Social Entrepreneur Podcast.
