Molly Lanaghan: Dancing on Ice Professional Skater
Although Molly Lanaghan was born on 29 January 1999 in Doncaster, Great Britain, she has respresented Canada at ice dancing.
Lanaghan began skating in 2007 and initially competed in pairs skating, representing Great Britain. She achieved national titles in Great Britain during her pairs skating career, partnering with Joseph Buckland and later Jake Astill.
In 2017, Lanaghan made a significant transition, moving to Canada to team up with ice dancer Dmitre Razgulajevs. This led to her change to representing Canada.
Lanaghan and Razgulajevs trained at the Scarboro Figure Skating Club in Scarborough, Ontario, coached by Carol Lane and Juris Razgulajevs.
The duo had great success, achieving two bronze medals at the Skate Canada Challenge and consistently placing within the top ten at national and international competitions.
Molly Lanaghan has also coached ice skating.
In 2024, ITV announced that she would be one of the professional skaters on the next series of Dancing on Ice in 2025 and would partner Sam Aston.
