Val Stones's Biography

Val Stones was a 66-year-old former primary school head teacher, originally from Conisbrough near Doncaster but was living with her husband Ian near Yeovil, Somerset, at the time of The Great British Bake Off season 7.

In 2016, she was working part-time as a substitute teacher and was incorporating baking into her classes.

She took over her family's baking aged 15.

She says her baking style is traditional.

Val Stones was the fifth baker to be eliminated from Bake Off in 2016.
