Dennis Rodman was born in Trenton, New Jersey on May 13, 1961.

The bad boy of basketball, nicknamed The Worm, has packed a lot into his life. Dennis Rodman is known for having his hair in various colours, delivering the odd headbutt to refs, and getting numerous suspensions.

On top of that, after becoming the fifth eviction from Celebrity Big Brother, Rodman told Davina McCall that he has had sex with nearly 2000 women.

After High School, Rodman had a variety of jobs including being a janitor at an airport. Somehow he shot up almost a foot to 6'8" and started playing basketball. He became famous for his amazing rebounding totals. He led the NBA in rebounding for seven consecutive years.

He was part of the Chicago Bull teams that won the NBA from 1996-1999, having already been a winner with Detroit (1989-90).

Rodman himself has a good way of expressing his basketball record: "I had the highest percentage of victories in NBA history. Michael Jordan didn't have that, Larry Bird didn't have it and Bill Russell didn't have it - I have it."

Dennis Rodman was married to Carmen Electra - albeit briefly, dated Madonna in 1994 (which he discusses in his autobiography), broke the world record for the amount of piercings and tattoos on one sportsman and had a penchant for dressing in women's clothing - plus he won a version of the reality show, Celebrity Mole in the States.

Dennis Rodman has also been married to Michelle Moyer and had been connected romantically to Love Island evictee Alicia Douvall, however Rodman claims that he only met her twice and that she came up with the story that they were in love and talking marriage. Rodman said: "I was never engaged to her. I never touched her. I never had sex with her."

Rodman showed off his tattoos and piercings when he appeared nude in an ad for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), nevertheless he was one of those less bothered by Pete Burns wearing gorilla (although it turned out to be monkey) fur in Celebrity Big Brother.

Phil Jackson has an anecdote in "Sacred Hoops" about meeting Dennis Rodman: "He sat on the couch wearing sunglasses and a hat. When I walked up to meet him, he stayed seated. I grabbed his hand and pulled him to his feet as I shook his hand and said, 'Dennis, I know you stand up to shake hands, good to see you.'"

After Dennis Rodman left the Celebrity Big Brother house he played basketball with the Brighton Bears on a three match contract.

In July 2006 Dennis Rodman joined ITV's Love Island but only for a couple of days. Seemingly he didn't want the stress of having to deal with Lee Otway after a row over Colleen Shannon.

In May 2008, People reported that Dennis Rodman had entered an outpatient rehab facility for alcohol abuse five days after being suspected of domestic battery.

In October 2008 Dennis Rodman was one of the celebrities in Hulk Hogan's Celebrity Wrestling Championship broadcast on CMT. He took the persona Rodzilla.

In 2009, Dennis Rodman played for the charity CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of New Orleans, in Celebrity Apprentice.

Rodman was the fifth person to be fired from Celebrity Apprentice.

In November 2016, Dennis Rodman was charged with driving the wrong way on a California highway and forcing another car to swerve into a concrete dividing wall.

He was later sentenced to three years informal probation, 30 hours of community service and ordered to donate $500 to a victim witness emergency fund.
