Charley Sanders was born on 15 January 1995 in Peterborough.

For most of his football career, Charley, who is 6ft 4in, played centre forward, however, more recently for Befford Town FC, he has played centre half.

He started playing for a team in Peterborough and whilst still under 10 years old, he signed for Boston United.

He scored his first senior goal for Boston against Colwyn Bay in November 2012 in the FA Trophy.

Outside of football, Charley Sanders works for BSW Window Solutions as sales manager.

Prior to moving from Yaxley FC to Bedford Town in October 2020, Charley Sanders' clubs included Boston United, Kings Lynn Town, Spalding United, Huntington Town and Grantham Town.

Charley is an Arsenal fan and his favourite player is Thierry Henry.

He lists his footballing highlights as scoring his first senior goal in the Conference and winning the league with Bedford Town in 2021/22.

In March 2023, Sanders left Bedford Town and joined Wisbech Town and immediately scored a hat-trick for the Fenmen in their 4-2 victory over Heather St John in the United Counties League Premier Division North.

The following week, he joined his former manager Gary Setchell at Corby Town.
