Sam Warburton's Biography
Sam Warburton has played football from a young age, following in the footsteps of his father who was also a footballer.
Sam, who is 5ft 10in, was at Northampton until he was 19 after doing a YT & 1st Year Pro, since then he has played for Nuneaton, King's Lynn, Corby Town and AFC Rushden & Diamonds.
In 2022, he started playing left back for Bedford Town, rejoining Gary Setchell who had been his manager at King's Lynn.
In March 2023, he left Bedford Town.
We asked Sam what was the highlight of his football career to date. He told us: "Scoring a hat-trick for Kings Lynn against Slough from left wing-back."
Outside of football Sam Warburton is training to be a fully qualified accountant.
