Bronte Barbe's Biography
When she appeared on Over The Rainbow, Bronte Barbe was an 18-year-old from Cheshire.
At the time she was a year 13 student at Fallibroome High School, a Specialist Performing Arts College, in Macclesfield.
As part of her dance training there, Bronte Barbe did work experience with Matthew Bourne's Dance Company, New Adventures.
At the time of Over The Rainbow, Bronte Barbe lived with her mother and sister, and pet dog William.
When she was just 7 years old she learnt to speak fluent Welsh.
In 2002 she played Ngana in South Pacific with the Alderley & Wilmslow Amateur Operatic Society.
Bronte Barbe has worked as a volunteer as an Assistant Drama Teacher at her old drama school.
In August 2009 she was in the Youth Music Theatre's UK production of A Winter's Tale at the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre in Guildford.
She gained her Grade 8 Group Musical Theatre with Distinction.
Bronte Barbe was the second of the finalists of Over The Rainbow to be voted off, however Andrew Lloyd Webber said that she would have definitely have been in his top five and hoped that she would keep in touch.
