Jessica Robinson's Biography

Jessica Robinson came fifth on Over The Rainbow.

Jessica's mother Judith works in the finance office at Redcar Community College, her father Ray is a docker at PD Logistics, Wolviston, and her brother Sam is a plumber. The family have a collie dog, Rebel.

Jessica used to go to Gabriel Primary School, St Peter's on Normanby Road, and the Northern School of Music in Hartlepool, but at the time of Over the Rainbow, Jessica Robinson was a second year performing arts student at Stockton Riverside College.

She was part of the Middlesbrough Youth Theatre company from a young age.

Jessica first appeared on stage when, just 7, she played Annie at Billingham Forum.

She appeared on Stars in Their Eyes Kids in 2005.

Jessica Robinson performed in the Teesside Musical Theatre Company's production of West Side Story.

In 2008 she was a finalist at the 'Miss Dance' competition at Blackpool Winter Gardens.

At Christmas 2009, she made her professional stage debut in Peter Pan at the Sunderland Empire.

Around the time of Over The Rainbow, Jessica discovered that she had won a scholarship at London's ArtsEd.

Her subsequent credits included playing Ali in the stage production of Mamma Mia in London.
