Duane Lamonte's Biography

Duane Lamonte trained at the Anna Scher Theatre School and at The Young Actors Theatre.

He knew Leona Lewis from a local youth club and was inspired by her success in 2006, to enter the X Factor.

He made it to the bootcamp stage of the X Factor in 2008 and 2009 and also entered the show in a band named Brick Street.

He has played both Stevie Wonder and Lionel Ritchie on stage.

He also supported Blue in their Greatest Hits concert.

Together with his mother he set up Ivy Entertainment Performing Arts Company to help young talent achieve in the arts.

In 2017, he was picked by Jessica Wright to partner her on Dance Dance Dance.

He had previously appeared on Pants Off Dance Off on TMF.
