Jonny Labey was born on 15 January 1993 in Jersey.

His parents are Mark and Collette Labey, well known faces in Jersey's arts scene.

Jonny Labey started tap dancing lessons when he was 5 years old.

He played Fizzy in a local production of Bugsy Malone when he was 8.

A year later, he learnt modern dance, and then, after a few more years, street dance and ballet.

He studied at Grouville School and Victoria College,

Jonny Labey often went busking with his guitar and also worked at Pizza Express to save up to go to College.

He left Jersey in 2011, and did a BA at the Doreen Bird College of Performance in Sidcup.

After graduating, he appeared in a London production of In The Heights, a film called Soft Lad, and the West End production of White Christmas.

However, his big breakthrough was playing the gay character Paul Coker in EastEnders.

He joined the soap in June 2015, but the character was killed off just over a year later.

After EastEnders, Jonny Labey appeared as Rupert Brooke in Verge of Strife, at the Edinburgh Festival.

In 2017, he was partnered with his girlfriend Chrissy Brooke on the ITV show Dance Dance Dance.

Jonny and Chrissy ended up winning the show.

His height is 5 feet 9 inches.

He is diabetic.
