Tom was a 29 year old architect living in Edinburgh, with his partner David, when he became a contestant on The Great British Bake Off in 2017.

He was taught to bake by his mother June, a Home Economics teacher.

Tom Hetherington enjoys rugby, running and skiing.

Tom was the fourth baker to leave Bake Off.
