Who is Julia Chernogorova?

Originally from Kemerovo in Siberia, Julia Chernogorova was 21 years old and living in West Sussex when she became a contestant of The Great British Bake Off in 2017.

She met her husband Matt (the nephew of Libby Woodlock) on holiday in Turkey when she was 17.

Julia was the star baker in the third week of Bake Off, however she was the sixth baker to be eliminated.
