Tupele Dorgu's Biography

Preston-born Tupele Dorgu is best known for having played factory worker Kelly Crabtree in Coronation Street.

She left Corrie in March 2010, having announced in November 2009 that she would be leaving the soap.

She trained in drama and musical theatre at the London Studio Centre.

Before Coronation Street, Tupele Dorgu was in the cast of La Cage Aux Folles in Frankfurt and the West End cast of Mamma Mia.

She also has acting credits on Casualty, Doctors, and Merseybeat.

As well as acting, Tupele Dorgu is a qualified aerobics teacher and has taught piano. She has also, along with her husband Mark Flanagan, set up the entertainment agency SugarStorm.

In May 2009, The Mail reported on Tupele Dorgu's wedding to Mark Flanagan.

In 2010 Tupele Dorgu became a contestant on Marco's Kitchen Burnout.

In 2015-2016 she played Dr Barrington in Hollyoaks.

She is also a voiceover artist.
