Jimmy Bullard's Biography
Jimmy Bullard was born on 23 October 1978 in Newham in east London.
The midfielder started out at Gravesend & Northfleet, but was transferred for £30,000 To West Ham in February 1999.
Two years later he was given a free transfer to Peterborough.
After a couple of seasons there he moved to Wigan for £275,000, where he was part of the side that got promoted to the FA Premier League at the end of the 2004/2005 season.
On 18 May 2006, Jimmy Bullard was signed by Fulham manager Chris Coleman for £2.5 million.
On 23 January 2009, Bullard signed for Hull City for £5 million, a club record.
Before retiring from professional football, Bullard also had stints at Ipswich and MK Dons.
His career suffered from injury and he was often on the fringes of the England team without managing to become a regular fixture.
Bullard earned a reputation for being a joker and prankster.
In 2014, he entered the jungle as one of the celebrities on I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, however he was the first one to be voted off.
He has written an autobiography Bend It Like Bullard.
