Who is Gemma Collins?
Gemma Collins was born on 31 January 1981 in Essex.In 2011, she joined The Only Way is Essex (TOWIE) in its second series.
Before joining TOWIE, she was a car salesperson.
She had been to the Sylvia Young Theatre School when she was a child.
Her television appearances include advising on fashion and cookery on This Morning.
She has also designed a clothing range, Gemma Collins Collection.
At the beginning of 2014, she appeared on ITV's Splash, and at the end of 2014, she was one of the celebrities in I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here.
Before going on I'm A Celebrity, Gemma Collins emphasised: "I am missing the Christmas special but I will be back. I am not leaving TOWIE ..."
However, any potential conflict became academic as Gemma Collins left I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here of her own volition, after struggling with jungle life in the first week.
In 2016, Gemma Collins became one of the housemates on Celebrity Big Brother.
She was the seventh housemate to be evicted from the Big Brother house.
Gemma Collins was one of the celebrities to take part in the second series of ITV's Sugar Free Farm broadcast at the start of 2017.
In November 2017, it was revealed that Gemma Collins would be appearing on series 4 of Celebs Go Dating.
She was lined up to be one of the celebrities on Dancing on Ice in 2019. She was partnered with Matt Evers.
They were the fifth couple to be eliminated.
In October 2020, the BBC announced that Gemma Collins would be appearing on the second series of Celebrity Supply Teacher, alongside the likes of Bruno Tonioli and Kimberley Walsh.
