Who is Jake Quickenden?
Jake Quickenden was born on 3 September 1988.Jake was a 26-year-old singer from Scunthorpe when he entered the ITV talent show X Factor in 2014, having been knocked out before in 2012.
In 2014, he lost his sing-off to Only The Young after singing Daniel Merriweather's Red.
Previously, Jake Quickenden had been a lifeguard in a local swimming centre, a model, and also hosted Sky's Chart Show TV.
In his young days he played football for Scunthorpe under 16s and played a couple of seasons in Australia.
After his departure from X Factor, he returned to ITV in 2014, when he became one of the celebrities on I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here. He ended up runner-up.
Jake later went out with the daughter of the I'm A Celebrity winner Carl Fogarty, Danielle.
In December 2016, it was reported that Jake Quickenden would be one of the celebrities on the fourth series of Channel Four's The Jump.
It emerged that he was one of the reserves on The Jump, ready to take part if there was an injury.
In July 2017, Jake Quickenden joined football's Northern Premier League Division One North team Ossett.
In October 2017, it was announced that Jake Quickenden would be a celebrity skater on Dancing on Ice.
He was paired with Vanessa Bauer.
Jake and Vanessa ended up winning Dancing on Ice series 10 in 2018.
