Melody Hossaini was a 26-year-old founder and director of a global youth consultancy business, living in Great Wyrley in the Midlands, when she entered The Apprentice series 7.

Melody came 6th in The Apprentice.

Melody Hossaini was born in Iran and lived in Turkey and Sweden before settling in the UK.

As well as English, Melody speaks Farsi, Swedish, German and French.

She went to Great Wyrley High School and gained an LLB (Hons) Law Degree from Oxford Brookes university.

Melody Hossaini has been a co-founder and trustee of the UK Youth Parliament.

In 2002, she was a political PA in Sir Patrick Cormack MP's office. Soon after she became an Outreach Officer for Oxford City Council.

From 2006 to 2008, Melody Hossaini was Project Co-ordinator for the National Youth Agency.

In 2009, Melody set up InspirEngage International, a social enterprise to improve the lives of children and young people.

Melody Hossaini's accolades include winning the outstanding achievement of the year at the Asian Women of Achievement Awards, and winning a Women of the Future Award at the Voluntary Sector awards.
