Glyn Wise's Biography

Glyn claimed to have been voted the sexiest lifeguard in North Wales. One thing is for sure: after a quiet first week, Glyn proved increasingly popular with housemates and the public and came second in Big Brother 7.

He has been head boy at Ysgol Dyffryn Conwy in Llanrwst and reckoned he would be the envy of his schoolmates, particularly after having had a lap-dance during Big Brother.

Heralding from Blaenau Ffestiniog, Glyn Wise thinks in Welsh and speaks in English.

In the final week of Big Brother, A Level results came out and it was revealed that Glyn had gained an A grade in art and design but only E grades in Welsh and English because he missed the exams having entered Big Brother.

Nevertheless, Glyn Wise had done well enough to go to Bangor University to study to become a teacher of Welsh. Glyn said that he would take a year out first.

In the past Glyn has done children's entertaining. He has done work experience at Builth Wells High School, where his sister teaches.

Glyn's sister and mother have won trophies for badminton.

Glyn Wise hates posh people and is annoyed that the Prince of Wales never comes to Wales. However, Glyn says that he is the happiest person on earth. Glyn Wise had a poster of Victoria Silvstedt in his bedroom at home.

Bullies used to throw rocks at him at primary school, whilst for his part, Glyn hates animals. Meanwhile in the Big Brother house, Glyn has learnt to cook and can do a mean baked beans.

Straight after Big Brother, Glyn Wise had difficulty adjusting, his friend Heledd Jones told Wales on Sunday that travelling between London and Wales: "He [Glyn Wise] was cold on the train and was sleeping and shouted 'Big Brother can you put the air conditioning off please?'"

Glyn Wise's first presenting job since leaving Big Brother was co-hosting T4 with Vernon Kay.

In January 2007, News Wales reported how Glyn Wise was helping a national campaign called Libraries It's Something to Shout About.

After Big Brother, Glyn went to Cardiff University.
