Who is Joel Dommett?


Joel Dommett was born on 11 December 1985, and grew up the village of Rockhamton near Bristol.

His comedy shows at Edinburgh include Neon Hero in 2011, Nunchuck Silver Medalist in 2012, and Finding Emo in 2014.

He acted as DC Sweeney in the TV series Skins and Toby Wood in Popatron.

Dommett hosted Live in Chelsea, the companion show to Made in Chelsea.

He was also part of BBC Three's Impractical Jokers team.

Dommett has been a panellist on the Sky1's Bring the Noise and has presented MTV's daily news bulletins.

He has also performed on Russell Howard’s Good News on BBC Three.

In November 2016, Joel Dommett came second on I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here.

In I'm A Celebrity, Joel showed Carol Vorderman his Pi tattoo, which ran to over 100 places that he had memorised when he was young.

In October 2017, ITV announced that Joel Dommett, Scarlett Moffatt and Joe Swash would be presenting the forthcoming series of I’m A Celebrity…Extra Camp.

In September 2019, he married the model Hannah Cooper in a ceremony in Mykonos. They had got engaged two years previously.

On 9 October 2019, ITV announced that Joel Dommett would co-present I'm A Celebrity ... Extra Camp with Adam Thomas and Emily Atack.

In January 2020, Joel Dommett hosted ITV's The Masked Singer.

He hosted the National Television Awards in 2021.

In March 2023, he was confirmed as the host of the BBC One show Survivor.

In October 2024, ITV announced that it was launching a brand new interactive show called I’m A Celebrity…Unpacked, which would be hosted by Joel Dommett alongside Kemi Rodgers and the previous winner of I'm A Celebrity, Sam Thompson.
