Martin Roberts was born in Warrington on 20 July 1963.

Since 2003, Martin Roberts has co-presented BBC One's Homes under the Hammer with Lucy Alexander. However she announced she was leaving the show in 2016.

The previous year, Dion Dublin had joined the presenting team.

Martin Roberts's previous credits include hosting Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is, CNN Travel News and Wish You Were Here.

He was the travel editor of Woman magazine for 15 years and has written regularly for Practical Caravan and Somerset Life.

Since the launch of talkRADIO in March 2016, Martin Roberts has presented a weekly property show, Gazumped, on the channel, which he broadcasts from a treehouse in his garden of his house in Bath.

His books about property, include Teach Yourself: Making Money from Property. He has also written children's books.

Martin Roberts also runs property training courses.

In November 2016, Martin Roberts was a late entrant into I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, joining on the fifth day.

He was the seventh celebrity to be eliminated.

His wife Kirsty arrived to their wedding in a JCB!
