Jilly Goolden became famous as a wine expert and presented Food & Drink for nearly two decades.

In the process, Jilly Goolden incurred the wrath of Delia Smith who described Jilly as "awful". The BBC report about Delia's remarks provides an entertaining insight into the world of food pundits.

Jilly Goolden has also presented The Great Antiques Hunt and Going, Going, Gone, as well as being a regular on the Holiday programme.

As well as books on food and drink, Jilly has co-authored 'Your Hand' - A Guide to Palmistry.

Jilly Goolden lists among her interests wildlife - but when she was voted off I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here after ten days, she said she'd had enough. Jilly was the second celebrity to be voted off from the jungle.

That did not stop her from entering more celebrity TV contests and Jilly Goolden was booked as one of the contestants on Channel 5's The All Star Talent Show.

In 2004, The Radio Times listed Jilly Goolden as TV's greatest eccentric.

Jilly Goolden's other TV appearances include swapping places with Alexander O'Neal's wife Cynthia in Celebrity Wife Swap.
