Rosie Brandreth-Poynter's Biography

At the time of entering The Great British Bake Off in 2019, Rosie Brandreth-Poynter was a 28 year old veterinary surgeon based in Somerset, working for Isle Valley Vets.

Rosie grew up in Oxfordshire and studied at Cambridge.

She told Channel 4 that the happiest day of her life was when she got married and "my two best friends made my wedding cake ... a 3 tier cake comprising; Red Velvet; Lemon and Blueberry and a Victoria Sponge layer ... decorated with stained glass windows of various animals and reptiles, with penguins on top ..."

Not surprisingly, Rosie's instagram account is full of cakes and animals!
