Alex George Facts
Dr Alex George, who is originally from Carmarthen, Wales, studied medicine at Exeter University.
He became an A&E doctor at University Hospital in Lewisham.
He first came to widespread public attention when he appeared on Love Island in 2018.
In an article in The Guardian Dr Alex George described his experience after Love Island, with his number of followers on Instagram going from 200 to more than a million.
He took up the role of Health Editor on Good Morning Britain, when Dr Hilary Jones was on holiday.
In 2019, Dr Alex George became a contestant on Celebrity MasterChef.
