Christopher Farrell's Biography
Christopher Farrell was a 28-year-old mortgage broker living in Cheshire when he entered The Apprentice series 6.
Christopher was the 8th person to be fired on The Apprentice.
Before The Apprentice was transmitted, the Daily Mail reported that in 2009 Christopher Farrell pleaded guilty to possessing an extendable baton and a knuckleduster and also that a spokesman for Devon and Cornwall Police had said:
"Police can confirm that a 29-year-old man [apparently Christopher Farrell] is on police bail after being arrested on suspicion of fraud in Plymouth on 4 August 2010."
Similarly The Sun reported on 30 September 2010 that Christopher Farrell was sacked by his employer in August 2009 after working for them on a commission basis for just 10 months.
Christopher Farrell joined the Royal Marines when he was 16-years-old and became a sniper and served in Iraq, Northern Ireland, Kosovo and Afghanistan before leaving and becoming a mortgage broker.
In October 2010, Christopher Farrell's bail was extended until December 8 2010 pending a charging decision by the Crown Prosecution Service on possible charges relating to fraud.
On 8 December 2010, Christopher Farrell was accused of four counts of fraud by false representation.
On 22 December 2010, Farrell admitted four charges of fraud.
In January 2011, Christopher Farrell was given a nine month prison sentence, suspended for two years, as well as 200 hours of community service.
