Gerri Blackwood's Biography

Gerri was fired in the third week of The Apprentice. Once again she was put in charge of locations and Lord Sugar appeared influenced by the fact she had already been one of the three up for firing in programme 1.

Gerri Blackwood has a BA Hons in Tourism and her jobs have included working as a travel agent with Thomas Cook and working in sales at Eurostar.

Although Gerri was a transport development manager before entering The Apprentice, she was very nearly an employee of MI5.

She got to the later application stages of MI5 but chose to go on series three of The Apprentice instead.

Gerri Blackwood's first paid work was in the local fish and chip shop at £2 an hour.

Gerri has also trained as an Air Traffic Control Officer, so should manage if any of the other Apprentice candidates are high flyers.

Gerri Blackwood offers a PA type service organising Christmas and birthday presents.

Gerri Blackwood told Radio Five Live that the week after The Apprentice she would be starting work launching a new product connected to an invention of her father-in-law.
