Naomi Lay was a 26 year old advertising sales manager at advertising.com when she entered The Apprentice series 3.

In programme 3, Naomi Lay was the losing project manager and seemed on the verge of being fired, but, instead Sir Alan Sugar pointed the figure at Gerri.

In the end, Naomi got as far as week ten of The Apprentice, and although she had been on the winning team six times, Naomi was fired by Sir Alan Sugar.

Naomi, based in Vauxhall in London, is originally from Cornwall and moved to London to attend University where she got a BA in European Studies.

Naomi Lay's father worked in diamond and gold mining in Sierra Leone.

Naomi lay showed the enterprising nature in tune with The Apprentice at a young age when she produced a nude calendar of miners from Cornwall to raise money for a mine rescue charity.

Naomi Lay enjoys running and diving. She has run the London and New York marathons and together with her friend Sarah Boyd Heudebourck, Naomi Lay raised around £3,500 in charity sponsorship for CLIC Sargent, running the New York marathon in 2005.

Since The Apprentice, Naomi Lay has modelled for photo shoots in The Times and Hello Magazine and had a spell co-hosting Radio Cornwall.

She has also launched Naomi Lay Consulting.
