Who is Lee McQueen?

Lee McQueen, who was born in 1977, was a 30-year-old recruitment sales manager for the Capita group, living in Princes Risborough when he entered The Apprentice series 4.

Lee McQueen, who is the son of a milkman and a doctor's receptionist, gained 8 GCSEs and a BTEC Diploma in IT.

When he was 17, Lee's parents split up and he bought his first house when he was just 18.

Lee McQueen's first job was as a catering manager at Harrow School. Since then he pursued a career in the recruitment industry, mainly in IT.

In his CV for The Apprentice, Lee McQueen stated that he was at Thames Valley from 1996 to 1998, but it transpired that he had only studied there for 4 months.

In spite of embellishing his CV, Lee McQueen reached the final 4 candidates of The Apprentice.

A week later, Lee McQueen was winner of The Apprentice.

Lee McQueen and Claire Young were paired in the final and beat their rivals Alex Wotherspoon and Helene Speight, and then Sir Alan Sugar chose Lee over Claire.

Lee enjoys football and rugby. Lee McQueen's girlfriend is Nicola Jellyman.

Lee McQueen's former boss, David Etherington said that The Apprentice winner had "weird wonderful motivational tactics .. one is called the reverse pterodactyl."

In The Apprentice: You're Hired, Sir Alan Sugar mentioned that Lee McQueen would be in charge of the sales and marketing of a new project putting up video screens that take advertising in a variety of places.

In July 2008 it was revealed that Lee McQueen called in sick on his first day of work for Sir Alan Sugar.

However, by the time of The Apprentice starting again in 2009, Lee McQueen was still working for Sir Alan Sugar at AMSHOLD, developing digital display advertising.

In 2010 Lee McQueen set up Raw Talent, providing internal sales academies.
