Shazia Wahab was a 35-year-old mosaic artist and company director living in Balham in South London when she entered The Apprentice series 4.

Shazia's stay on The Apprentice did not last long, however, as she was fired in the second week.

On the The Apprentice: You're Fired, Gerry Robinson and Clare Balding were very surprised that Shazia Wahab was the candidate to be fired, although because of her performance in the boardroom, Michelle Mone, thought that Sir Alan had got it right.

Adrian Chiles noted on The Apprentice: You're Fired, that he had never seen an audience with such a high proportion convinced that Lord Sugar had got it wrong.

Shazia Wahab gained a BA in Business Studies at University of Westminster and a Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing.

Series 4 was not the first time Shazia had applied to be on The Apprentice. Her application was rejected in the third series of The Apprentice.

Shazia Wahab's family unit of her parents and 11 brothers and sisters hold the Guinness World Record in the UK for the most amount of degrees of such a group.

The Wimbledon Guardian reported how, in 2003, Shazia Wahab successfully sued City solicitors Allen & Overy in a sex and race discrimination case where she claimed they victimised her while she was an intranet project manager there.
