Craig Coates's Biography
Big Brother contestant, Craig Coates from Norfolk was 20 when he entered the house. Craig has a brother who does kick-boxing.
It was when Craig Coates studied Art History that he started to examine Ancient Egyptians and their relationship with aliens. Craig declared during Big Brother that he didn't believe in God, unless he was an alien, which he did believe in.
Craig set up his own hairdressing salon, Saint Hair, a year before entering Big Brother and says he's the best hairdresser in the world. During the transmission of Big Brother, Craig Coates said that he was debating whether to go back to the salon after his time at Big Brother because of the pressures of work. Craig said that he sometimes has waiting lists of three months and an average haircut costs £18. In the end he sold it and moved to London.
However, eventually Craig returned to Norfolk and the hairdressing business and also had plans to set up a rescue centre for dogs.
Craig believes hair is an extension of your personality.
When he was nominated in the first round, Craig was adamant that he was a lot nicer than most of the people in the Big Brother house.
Craig revealed during Big Brother that he used to work in the children's underwear department of Woolworths.
Craig Coates left the Big Brother House with just two days to go, after he was bottom of the remaining five housemates in the public poll at that stage.
His stay in Big Brother 6 will mainly be remembered for his close relationship with the eventual winner Anthony.
In this interview with BBC Norfolk at the end of 2005, Craig said he was still in contact with Orlaith, Maxwell, Anthony and Saskia.
