Sheryl Gascoigne's Biography
Sheryl Gascoigne was born on 24 September 1965.
In 1996, as Sheryl Failes she married footballer Paul Gascoigne.
Paul and Sheryl Gascoigne divorced in 1998.
Sheryl had been the subject of domestic abuse by Paul Gascoigne. The Sun reported how Gazza: "almost left Sheryl a cripple during a blazing row at the Gleneagles Hotel in Scotland in October 1996. In fact, he tried to strangle her, bit her face and dislocated her fingers."
Sheryl Gascoigne has three children: Regan, of whom Paul is the father; Bianca Gascoigne; and Mason.
According to The Times, Sheryl Gascoigne put her divorce settlement of £600,000 into property, doubled her investment and has paid her bills by buying houses and doing them up.
In 2010, Sheryl Gascoigne went on I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, having previously turned down two offers to appear on the show. She followed in the footsteps of her daughter Bianca Gascoigne, who appeared on the ITV reality show Love Island.
Sheryl was the first celebrity to be voted off I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here.
Sheryl Gascoigne has written an autobiography Stronger: My Life Surviving Gazza, which was published in 2009.
She and her children were also featured on the Channel 4 documentary Surviving Gazza.
