Who is Noel Edmonds?

Born in Essex, he went to Brentwood Public School.

Noel Edmonds started out in broadcasting as a DJ on Radio Luxembourg when still a teenager.

He moved to Radio 1 and then went on to host popular TV shows such as Top of the Pops, the Multi-Coloured Swap Shop, Noel's House Party and Telly Addicts.

In 2005, he became the presenter of the long-running Channel Four show Deal or No Deal.

Noel Edmonds's other presenting credits include Sky's Are You Smarter Than a Ten Year Old? and Channel Four's Cheap Cheap Cheap.

In 2009, he married his third wife Liz Davies, who was a make-up artist on Deal or No Deal.

He is a believer in cosmic ordering.

Noel Edmonds revealed how he attempted suicide after fraud by a group of HBOS staff affected his Unique Group business.

In July 2019, Lloyds Banking Group, who had taken over HBOS, apologised to Noel Edmonds and agreed a compensation deal.

Previously, in 2018, Noel Edmonds was one of the contestants on I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here.

In spite of joining late (day 5) he was the first celebrity to be voted off.
