Nick Pickard trained as a child actor at Sylvia Young Theatre School.
He had minor roles in the likes of You Rang M'Lord, Grange Hill and EastEnders, before being cast as Tony Hutchinson in Hollyoaks.
He had to do ten auditions to get the part.
He joined in the very first episode of the soap in 1995 and is the longest-serving actor.
Nick won the award for Outstanding Achievement in the 2017 British Soap Awards.
Nick used to date his Hollyoaks co-star Joanna Taylor.
