Early Life

Tina Hobley was born on 20 May 1971 in north west London.

In 1995, she graduated from the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art.

TV Roles including Holby

Subsequently she was cast in the likes of Pie in the Sky, The Bill, and The Ruth Rendell Mysteries.

These parts were followed by significant recurring roles such as playing Samantha Failksworth in Coronation Street and WPC Melanie Rush in Harbour Lights, but she is best known for playing Chrissie Williams in Holby City from 2001 to 2013.

In 2013, Tina Hobley became a presenter of Smooth Sundays on Smooth Radio.

In 2014 she appeared on Celebrity Masterchef.

In 2015, she appeared on stage for the first time in 20 years, in an adaptation of Peter James’ novel Dead Simple.

In 2016, Tina Hobley became one of the celebrities on Channel Four's The Jump.

However, she was forced to pull out after she dislocated her shoulder.

Personal Life

She has two children with her husband Oliver Wheeler and a daughter from her first marriage to Steve Wallington.
